Ron and Maureen Taylor of Fallbrook are delighted to announce the engagement of their daughter, Shannon Christine Taylor, to Jeremiah Steven Whitten, son of Steven and Marguerite Whitten of Bonita.

Shannon and her family moved to Fallbrook in 1997. She and Jeremiah met while attending San Diego Christian College. Shannon graduated in 2009 with a Bachelors of Art in communication, while Jeremiah graduated in 2008 with a Bachelors of Art in English.

They share a mutual passion for missions and bringing the good news of salvation in Jesus to orphans and children-at-risk overseas.

They just returned from a summer missions trip in Russia with their band, Sorrow Underfoot.

Shannon and Jeremiah will be wed on March 27 at First Christian Church in Fallbrook. After their honeymoon, they will reside in San Diego.
