Golfers to raise funds for charity

FALLBROOK – Local golf pro Barry Krumwiede is raising money for three charities with three weeks of golf events at his USA Golf School, located at Circle K Golf Ranch in Rainbow. The charities that will benefit from this fundraiser are Krumwiede’s Disabled Golfers Foundation, Fallbrook Food Pantry and breast cancer research.

The fundraiser will take place on Saturdays, Dec. 5, 12, 19 and Sundays, Dec. 6, 13, 20 and by appointment. The activities include a Closest to the Pin or Hole in One contest; balls cost $1 a piece with a minimum of 10 required. Each golfer who participates in the contest will receive a raffle ticket to go into a drawing for a $25 USA Golf School gift certificate. The first through third place winners over the three week period will win gift certificates good for lessons and/or merchandise at the golf school, (1st - $150, 2nd - $100, 3rd - $50).

Golfers can also play against Krumwiede in the Beat the Pro contest. All who want to participate in any of these events are asked to make reservations to play through Dec. 24. Anyone who does not play golf but donates $25 to the fundraiser will receive a $50 gift certificate for the golf school.
