SeniorNet holding registration for winter classes

FALLBROOK – Registration for the nonprofit Fallbrook SeniorNet’s initial 2010 classes will be conducted from 10 a.m. to noon at the Foundation for Senior Care on January 13 and 20.

The following subjects will be offered: Family Tree Maker, Photoshop Elements, Digital Camera Fun, Overview of Google, Beginning Computer, Introduction to Windows 7, Introduction to Computers and eBay Basics: Buying and Selling, and Microsoft Live Programs

The classes begin January 25. Each weekly class lasts two hours and most classes are completed in eight weeks. Each class is limited to eight students, every student has access to a lab computer, and instructors and coaches ensure that participants receive supportive one-on-one help.

The Foundation for Senior Care, where the classes are held, is located at 135 South Mission Road (across from the library at the corner of Fig and Mission).

The volunteers also conduct a free computer help lab each Friday afternoon from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Foundation SeniorNet lab where well qualified help is available for seniors having computer problems or needing assistance in ordering a new computer or digital camera assistance. No appointment is necessary.
