Senior Citizens meet Jan. 12

FALLBROOK – The Fallbrook Senior Citizens Club will have their regular monthly meeting at the center on Jan. 12 at 10 a.m. in the main meeting room.

The program will be an introduction to the center’s new Wii Senior Bowling League by Wayne King. This is a fun machine that has been purchased for the enjoyment of all members. Refreshments will be served. There will be a drawing for 10 free lunches at the Community Center for that day. Bingo will be played from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. with great prizes. Cards are $1 each with no limit. Again, refreshments will be served.

All seniors are urged to begin the year by enjoying the many benefits of belonging to the club. Memberships are available for $15. This entitles visits to the produce pantry Monday through Friday for a charge of $2. New members receive their first visit free of charge.

The Knit Wits knitting club will meet at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 13 to continue their projects for Camp Pendleton. Donations of good yarn always accepted at the office. All knitters and crocheters are welcome.
