Thank you, thank you, thank you, to the Fallbrook Adult Day Care Center at the corner of Mission and Alvarado, also known as “the Club.” Teddie, you and your staff have saved my life.
Some of you in the community may know me and also know that my husband was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease four years ago. I thought I could manage. I got some help, modified my life and kept a good outlook.
What I didn’t recognize is how much this illness affected both of us. I was tired all the time, and my own health was slipping.
I thought it would be difficult to get my husband to go to the Club. It was easy after the first visit. The atmosphere is pleasant, welcoming, happy and full of activities. The staff knows how to keep everyone engaged and positive. The information and resources available for me was incredible.
If this letter sounds like an advertisement, it is. If anyone out there thinks that the Club might work for them, you should definitely look into it.
Thank you, Teddie, you have saved my life.
