Historical series selected for Community Read

The Friends of the Fallbrook Library have chosen Jacqueline Winspear’s award winning “Maisie Dobbs” historical mystery series for the Community Read for 2010. The first book in the series is “Maisie Dobbs.”

The series, set in England between World War I and World War II, uses the character of Maisie to explore the social upheavals of that time. There are several events planned for March and April, including a book talk and a full English tea.

The annual membership luncheon will be held April 22 at the Pala Mesa Resort with Jacqueline Winspear as the speaker....
