Re: 'Cheney should apologize' [Letter, Village News, 01/14/10]

I had to read the comment twice to be sure I understood it. Jon Monday claims “…he (Dick Cheney) is personally responsible for allowing the 9/11 attack to happen…” I’ve heard some pretty loopy left wing claims about the cause of 9/11 but this is by far the most outrageous.

I think we can all agree that the rancorous dialogue between left and right today begs for apology on both sides – but the Democrats first.
