MURRIETA (CNS) - Jury selection began today for the trial of a 23-year-

old Lake Elsinore man who allegedly caused head injuries to a 5-month-old baby

by shaking her and throwing her into a playpen.

David Anthony Gutierrez is facing felony charges of causing corporal

injury to a child, with great bodily injury and serious felony allegations.
