Dr. Steve Dorsey spends 10 days in Haiti

JIMANI, DR – Dr. Steve Dorsey, son of Sandy Dorsey of Fallbrook, recently spent 10 days helping out in Haiti. He was able to drive to Port-A-Prince from his clinic in Catey, Dominican Republic. Dorsey contacted his friends at Partners in Health at Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, Calif., and they responded by sending 15 doctors and nurses to help him.

The team worked at the hospital in Jimani, Dominican Republic by organizing care and identifying, treating and transporting critical surgical patients. Dorsey also was able to set up a clinic in a church in Port-au-Prince. He says what is...
