North County Networking teams up with Fallbrook Hospital for Blood Drive March 2

FALLBROOK – The members of North County Networking have joined with Fallbrook Hospital to co-host a blood drive on Tuesday, March 2 in the hospital parking lot. The drive is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., with a goal of raising 25 pints of blood for the San Diego Blood Bank.

The public is encouraged to first schedule an appointment for their life-saving donation by going to http://www.sandiegobloodbank.org and clicking “appointments,” then “Make an Appointment at mobile blood drive” before entering code word: FALL.

An appointment may also be scheduled by calling (800) 469-7322. Prospective donors without an appointment may still come to the blood mobile, but may have to wait for an available berth to donate.

North County Networking is a group of local businesses and professionals offering a diverse selection of goods and services with an emphasis on serving the community in a professional, capable and ethical manner.

Networking members will be offering goodie bags to all donors, filled with coupons and discount offers. The Blood Bank also offers points for donating, which can be redeemed for discounts to various restaurants and entertainment venues through the Blood Bank’s online Life Saver Store.

Prospective donors are encouraged to eat a good meal and drink plenty of fluids prior to donating. They cannot have donated within 8 weeks prior, and will need to show proof of identification.

For more information on this drive, call (800) 469-7322. To learn more about the North County Networking, visit
