When a person has a good understanding of a subject, they have a calm spirit because they know that they are on solid ground, and can speak on a subject with authority. They often speak without using superlatives and inflammatory words.

With some people, the less they know about a subject, the more they go on and on. It is obvious to everyone around them that they know little, are in over their head, agitated by their uncertainty, and what is coming out of their mouth may lack validity.
