Two stabbed after late night bar scuffle

Two individuals are recovering at a nearby hospital after being stabbed outside of a local bar late last night.

According to Sheriff's Lt. Phil Brust, two victims were stabbed outside of the bar located on the 1400 block of South Mission Road after a scuffle that occurred around midnight inside of the bar.

Brust said two to three adults attacked the victims giving them “significant stab wounds,” then fled the scene. Their race and age are still undetermined.

The victims were transported to a nearby hospital, and it is believed that at least one of the victims required surgery for the stab wounds.

Sheriff's deputies are currently collecting victims' statements.
