Fallbrook Airpark to hold Open House April 18

FALLBROOK – On Sunday, April 18, the day of the Avocado Festival, the Fallbrook Airpark will hold an Open House from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Attractions at the event include aeronautical displays, flying demonstrations (including helicopters), an assortment of vintage planes, fire-fighting water drop demonstrations and a flight simulator.

The RC Flyers will have nearly 100 radio-controlled model planes and helicopters will engage in dog fights and perform aerobatics.

Hamburgers and hot dogs will be offered for sale by the Friends of Fallbrook Airpark.

The Airpark is located at 2155 South Mission Road. A free shuttle bus will make regular runs every 15-20 minutes between the airpark and three locations – as part of transporting guests to the Avocado Festival and other area attractions. Shuttle pickups will be made at Fallbrook High School, the Albertsons shopping center and the Avocado Festival.
