Thank you for community event

The Annual Pancake Breakfast was held at Fallbrook Community Center on Saturday, April 3. The egg hunts and games were across the street at the La Paloma School fields. The event was a big success thanks to volunteer help and donations from many organizations.

Fallbrook Firefighters Association members served up a fantastic pancake breakfast. They rounded up equipment and food and served a tasty breakfast to more than 200 people. Volunteers from The National Charity League loaded more than 2,000 Easter eggs, decorated the dining area for the breakfast, provided Easter Bunnies and helped with egg hunts and games for over 300 children. Inland Hills Community Church volunteers helped organize and run egg hunts and games and many local businesses contributed gift certificates that were used as game prizes.

The Fallbrook Village Rotary Club, Friends of Fallbrook Community Center and San Diego County Parks and Recreation teamed up as event sponsors.

Thanks and congratulations are in order to all these organizations for their help in making this a fun and memorable community event!
