Voting begins May 25 for Cute Kids Contest

FALLBROOK – Pedestrians walking past Ahrend Studios on E. Alvarado Street may have noticed the pictures of some of Fallbrook’s “Cutest Kids” in the window. Ahrend Studios’ Cute Kids Contest runs annually, February through May. It is a fun way for local residents to have their little ones professionally photographed by Fallbrook’s favorite hometown photographer at a discounted price and get a chance to win prizes from several of the local businesses.

This year’s contest is winding to a close and local residents can help choose the “People’s Choice” award winner. Voting can be done in two ways, either in person by visiting one of the sponsor locations (listed at the end of the article) or by voting once on Facebook. Just visit Ahrend Studios’ Photography page and click on the “photos” tab and it will link to the Cute Kids Contest Album, where the entry photos can be viewed. Viewers can post the comment “Vote” under any of their favorite kids.

They may only vote once per photo via Facebook but may vote once per day at the local sponsor locations. The child with the most votes in total will win special prizes from Ahrend Studios and several of this year’s sponsors.

This year’s sponsor locations are Ahrend Studios, 211 E. Alvarado Street; Sweet ‘n Sassy, 1229 S. Mission (behind Pizza Hut); The Sweet Sicilian, 232 S. Main Ave; Swirlz Candy & Party Emporium, 213 N. Main; United Studios of Self Defense, 833-E South Main Ave (Major Market shopping center); and The Yogurt Palace, 130 S. Main Ave.

Voting will take place May 25 thru June 4 and the winners will be announced in the Village News on June 17.
