Tickets now on sale for July 4 celebration

FALLBROOK – Tickets are now on sale for the Fallbrook Beautification Alliance’s (FBA) annual Fourth of July celebration, which take place on the grounds of the Grand Tradition, 1602 S. Mission Road, in Fallbrook starting at 4 p.m.

Attendees may celebrate on the lush green lawns or reserved tables while enjoying a choice of chicken dinner, barbecue beef sandwich, hot dog or hamburger, along with pie, ice cream, beer, wine, soft drinks and many other traditional holiday treats.

Everyone can partake in multiple games, try their luck at the traditional “Quack Up Cup,” or bid on amazing silent auction gifts. The Corvette’s will provide an evening of live music, all leading up to the night’s grand finale – a fireworks show and music.

The Rubber Raft Regatta is expected to once again be one of the evening’s highlights. Teams of four will compete for the title of the fastest rubber raft to row across the Grand Tradition’s heart-shaped lake. Along with the honor of taking first, the winning team may earn up to $2,000 in prize money (50 percent of entry fees collected).

All the money raised will be used by FBA volunteers to enhance Fallbrook by cleaning town statues and murals, removing graffiti, maintaining the Mission medians and enhancing local parks.

For those holding a July 4th celebration at their own home this year, but enjoy viewing the fireworks in the skies over Fallbrook, please consider making a fireworks donation to help the organization fund the fireworks again next year. Registration for the Rubber Raft Race, event tickets and Rubber Duck chances are now available at http://www.fallbrookbeautification.org. Tickets will also be sold at the Fallbrook Chamber of Commerce, Major Market and A Few of our Favorite Things beginning June 1. There will be no 8 p.m. “fireworks only” ticket sales this year.
