FALLBROOK — Fallbrook Music Society is pleased announce its 2010 gala - a magical evening of “Tango Romantica” - the ultimate pairing of music and dance. The event will take place on Saturday, June 19, from 5 to 8:30 p.m. at a private estate in Fallbrook. Proceeds from this event will benefit Fallbrook Music Society and its youth education programs.
The Gala will include valet parking, an authentic Argentine-themed four-course dinner catered by award-winning Pampas Argentine Grill, silent and live auctions, and a musical performance featuring San Diego’s Camarada ensemble, along with professional dancers Tango Alma.
“We are excited about the 2010 Tango Romantica Gala, and we anticipate a great turnout this year,” said Brenda Montiel, President of Fallbrook Music Society. “The children of our community will greatly benefit from this special event, and the funds generated will help support our music programs in Fallbrook’s elementary schools, the Junior High and the High School” she added.
Through generous donations, there will be many wonderful silent and live auction items, such as a day cruise on a private yacht, an original oil painting by renowned local artist Jack Ragland, a piano concerto and reception in a private home, a hand-crafted quilt, and several entertainment packages, among others.
Currently celebrating its 32nd season, Fallbrook Music Society is a 501 (C) (3) not-for-profit organization. As part of its mission, Fallbrook Music Society provides a classical music symphony series as a vital part of educating and enhancing the musical needs of Fallbrook and its surrounding communities.
