Pinto team wins all-star tourney

The Fallbrook Youth Baseball Pinto 8U All Star team won the 2010 Pony North Section All Star Tournament. The team will move on to the Regional Tournament in San Marcos to compete against the top qualifiers from the Pony North and South Sections. Managed and coached by Angelo Olivo, Steve Taft, Art Smith, and Joel Calhoun, the team won eight straight games over 10 days to claim the tournament championship. Players include: Cooper Sherman, Tristen Smith, Dean Olivo, Joel Calhoun, Connor White, Zac Allegro, Mitchel Simon, Nate Barker, Evan Brown, Ethan Taft, Tomas Carranza, and Grant Knox.
