Gourd festival to be last at De Luz farm

DE LUZ – This year’s 15th Gourd Art Festival, scheduled for June 25 and 26, at the Welburn Gourd Farm in De Luz will be the last and final show.

According to Laura Cunningham, project coordinator, the annual event will be replaced by multiple smaller events and activities throughout the year.

Because this is the last festival, several new attractions have been added and over 25 full-day gourd art classes will be offered the three days prior to the event.
