Classes start at community center

FALLBROOK – The Fallbrook Community Center offers a variety of classes for all ages including Beginning Guitar, Preschool Dance: Ballet/Tap, and Preschool Tumbling.

Anyone who wants to play guitar and doesn’t know how to start can take this beginner’s class and learn basic chords, chord progressions and easy to play picking for real songs from the ground up. The first session starts on Tuesday, Feb. 3 and runs through Feb. 24, from 5 to 6 p.m. Ages 9 and older are welcome to attend this beginner class.

A series of classes by Busy Bee Fitness will start the week of Feb. 4 including Preschool Ballet/ Tap Dance and Preschool Tumbling for children ages 3 to 5. Preschool Ballet/ Tap will specialize in beginning ballet and tap technique, building coordination, team work, self-esteem and flexibility. Preschool Tumbling will learn basic skills from forward rolls to bridge kick over, build muscle strength, improve coordination, team work, and great listening skills.

Both courses will have three sessions, the first sessions began Wednesday, Feb. 4. The Preschool Ballet/ Tap class will be held from 9 to 9:35 a.m. and Preschool Tumbling: A Creative Movement will be held from 9:45 to 10:20 a.m. For questions regarding class content, dance attire, or shoes, contact instructor Melissa Rash at (760) 705-4233 or email [email protected].
