Volunteers needed to paint over graffiti

Last updated 10/2/2008 at Noon

The Fallbrook Anti-Graffiti Task Force is seeking volunteers willing to help paint over graffiti.

The group is comprised of a partnership between the Fallbrook Beautification Alliance, the Senior Volunteers with the Fallbrook Sheriff’s Substation and the Fallbrook Chamber of Commerce.

Once graffiti is discovered, Sheriff’s Department volunteers photograph and record the crime for investigation purposes and a volunteer coordinator calls to see who might be available to help paint over the graffiti. All paint supplies are furnished.

Those willing to be on the volunteer list are encouraged to call Manny Ortega at (760) 451-3144.
