Smith will provide us a voice on FCPG

As an ardent reader of your fine newspaper, I want to commend you for your informative article on the men and women running for seats on the Fallbrook Community Planning Group. One of those running is Steve Smith.

I have known Steve for many years. Steve was in the Navy and I was in the Marines. We have kept in touch following the war, and believe me Steve has had a lifetime of serving the people. First, serving our country, then as an educator, last but not least he has been very active in many civic affairs during the time he has been in Fallbrook.

He will be a voice for those of us who have been fighting to keep Fallbrook a beautiful rural community. No more irresponsible large housing developments. Housing developments must be compatible with the Fallbrook lifestyle. Your vote for Steve Smith will go a long way to keep this from happening. Semper Fi.
