Event marks anniversary of Rice Fire

Mike Crain from North County Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) gave an overview of the active role CERT played in the recovery process after the Rice Fire.

Richard McDonnell, who lost his home in the Rice Fire, read a poem that he wrote about his experience during the fire. The poem was used as a part of one of the displays at the remembrance event held in the Village Square on October 18.
