Thank you for food donations

This letter is to say ‘thank you’ to the Fallbrook community for their donations of food to help the hungry.

On Sunday, October 26, at Major Market, our children and youth collected 12 full shopping carts of food for the Fallbrook Food Pantry.

This was a response of goodwill, generosity and charitable giving. Instead of trick-or-treating for candy, the children and youth decided to trick-or-treat for food to feed the hungry.

This was a commendable effort by all. The young people learned the importance of giving to others and friends and strangers alike responded.

Thank you, also, to Major Market for their continual support of this community.
