Gary William Showalter

Gary William Showalter, born in Fallbrook Hospital (on Main Street) on March 27, 1952, died in Temecula on January 30, 2009. Gary attended Fallbrook schools K-11 and graduated from Twenty-nine Palms High School in 1970.

He spent two years in the US Army, was employed in the grocery business for approximately 15 years and in the San Diego Community College District as a custodian for approximately seven years. He moved back to Fallbrook in 2006.

Gary is survived by his mother Patricia Showalter; father Dale Showalter; sister Terry Draper; brother Tim Showalter; nephew Robert Painter; nieces Jennifer Stonebraker, Erin Draper and Anne Painter; great-nephew Alex Painter; great-nieces Rianna Lamar and Trinity Lamar; and aunts, uncles and cousins.

Graveside services were held at the Masonic Cemetery on Friday, February 6.
