Village Rotary presents Enlisted Man's Sword

FALLBROOK — On Friday, September 4, the Fallbrook Village Rotary Club was honored to present the Enlisted Man’s Sword to the honor graduate of the Corporals Course, Class 14-09, Cpl. Eric D. Wiener.

The course is entirely voluntary and only corporals may apply. They are from units in the San Diego, Miramar, Camp Pendleton and Twentynine Palms areas.

It is an intensive three-week course covering subjects from “The Promotion System,” “Leadership Styles” and “Improvised Explosive Device” to “Operations I through III” and “History of the Marine NCO.” The course is limited to 73 corporals.

The school is under the command of Col. Philippe D. Rogers, school director Master Sgt. C.L. Fitzgerald and chief instructor Gunnery Sgt. M.J. Brown.
