Hospital Gift Shop gets facelift

Last updated 10/15/2009 at Noon

FALLBROOK — Fallbrook Hospital’s Gift Shop is getting a total remodel in honor of the Hospital Auxiliary’s 50th anniversary.

The new look will include carpeting, show cases and a paint job. Effective immediately, most items will be on sale at 50 percent off, with the exception of handmade items, cards and candy.

Proceeds from the gift shop go to the auxiliary’s scholarship fund, which benefits students preparing for a career in the health field. This past June, the organization gave a total of $32,000 in scholarship money to deserving students.
