FALLBROOK — With Red Ribbon week in full swing, the Boys & Girls Clubs of North County reiterated a prevention program that is available throughout the year.

“We just started a new cycle of Smart Moves, an award-winning national program that helps members develop skills to resist pressures,” said Lisa Ware, director of operations. “This program hits all the hot topics – alcohol, drugs, self-esteem, nutrition, and hygiene. The Smart Moves program is a series of small group classes and activities that teach our members how to say ‘no’ and be healthy in an age-appropriate way.”
