Families need 'adopting'

FALLBROOK — The Fallbrook Food Pantry’s annual Christmas Adopt-a-Family program desperately needs sponsors.

A sponsoring family is matched with a family who, if not for the sponsor’s help, would not be able to afford a Christmas celebration.

The sponsor is asked to provide a gift for each child and a holiday meal. Sponsors have the opportunity to deliver the items (or gift certificates for food) to the family in person on or near Christmas.
