Autopsy scheduled for Marine who died after night of drinking

FALLBROOK – An autopsy is scheduled for an active duty Marine who died early Sunday morning, March 28, after a night of drinking with friends, according to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department.

The male victim, Lance Cpl. Jason O. Kameroff, 21, was pronounced dead after authorities were called at 2:10 a.m. to an apartment complex at 519 Ammunition Road, according to Sgt. David Martinez.

Lt. Dennis Brugos of the County’s homicide detail said Kameroff had been at a barbecue and was drinking with a fellow group of Marines.
