FALLBROOK – The Bello Lei Salon is proud to present Ebony & Ivory, a black and white art show displayed in the four rooms of the salon through May 31.
Despite the seduction color offers in a work of art, a black and white palette forces the viewer to focus closely on the artist’s visual selection, allowing prominence of tone, form, space, contrast and mood of the artwork.
“In some unexamined but authentic sense, the tones of black and white are the tones of truth and reality,” Christopher Hitchens.
The current art display features works by regional artists, Arturo Rubio, Brooke Thom, Bizzie, Leslee Houston, Lydia Martin, Kinsa, Rachael Rhyne and Stephen King. Ebony & Ivory presents a variety of art mediums and subject matter, with a unifying black and white palette.
The various mediums include acrylic, pen and ink, copper plate etchings, graphite, charcoal, photography and mixed media. Bello Lei staff invites everyone to view and appreciate these artworks as a guest or a client at their full service salon which is located at 131 Beech Street.
Bello Lei Salon is dedicated to providing clients with the highest degree of customer service in a professional and unique setting.
