I recently asked a utility crew placing a wood power pole within a half-mile of their transformer that ignited the Rice Canyon fire why they weren’t installing one made out of metal and they said it was because SDG&E did not consider the area a fire zone.
I just asked the SDG&E installer of their new “smart” wireless electric meter its capacity to channel power from residential solar or wind generators and was told that it did not accept energy contributions from alternate sources.
Simply asked, what is SDG&E thinking?
