Beach-themed party rewards top readers

FALLBROOK – La Paloma School’s top readers were invited to celebrate their achievements for the year by enjoying a Root Beer Float/Beach Party. Students who had earned the most Accelerated Reader points in fourth, fifth and sixth grade enjoyed an afternoon of awards, prizes and games.

Also, on June 10 they attended a special presentation sponsored by the public library, which hosted author Tracy Trivas, who shared her new book, The Wish Stealers. She shared her writing process and read excerpts from her book, concluding with the opportunity for students to purchase her autographed book....
