Magnitude 4.1 earthquake strikes Rowland Heights

The greater Los Angeles area experienced yet another earthquake today, this one being a 4.1 magnitude shaker near Rowland Heights, Calif., according to a U.S. Geological Survey Report.

The report said the quake was 9 kilometers deep; its epicenter was approximately 2 kilometers southeast of Rowland Heights and 5 kilometers northwest of Brea in Orange County.

The quake occurred at 2:32 p.m. today, and is one of more than 115 tremors that have shaken the region since last night's 5.1 magnitude earthquake in La Habra.

The earthquake could be felt as far south as cities like Temecula and Murrieta.
