Mrs. Eichhorn was preceded in death by brother Larry Estes, Fallbrook, CA. She is survived by her husband of 58 years Norman Eichhorn, Fallbrook, CA; daughters Janice Carpenter and Karen Strain, both of Fallbrook, CA; and one grandchild, Matthew Strain, San Diego, CA.     As of 5:13 PM on Friday, July 1, 2005 there is a fire burning on Camp Pendleton and approximately 300 acres have been affected so far. No structures have been destroyed. According to Chief Bob Johnson, of Camp Pendleton the fire started at approximately 10:30 AM on the southwest side of the base, in the area known as Isadora Flats.     The National Multiple Sclerosis Society, San Diego Area Chapter, has announced registration is now open for its 2005 Southern California MS Challenge Walk, a three-day, 50-mile fundraising walk from Carlsbad’s Poinsettia Park to downtown San Diego, Sept. 16 to 18.
