Christmas party was a success

Ho, ho, ho! We had a great Christmas party for the kids – cookies, candy, pizza, soda, gifts and plenty of fun! Again this year, the kids marveled at the drawing prizes. This was accomplished through the generosity of all my Moose brothers and sisters! Thanks to each and every one of you, this old fat boy had a heart-warming day with the kids!

I’d like to thank Santa’s special helpers, sponsors of the drawing prizes. Dr. Richard Pyne and Don Lovall have made generous donations for years now. This year, Fallbrook Taxi/Transportation clients Gary and Jackie Joslin made a very generous donation because they care about kids and wanted to help our Moose Lodge. We received another very generous donation from the Fallbrook Vintage Car Club, who delivered their check in person for the second year in a row! God bless all these folks!

Neal and R.J. Chase showed their support again this year by going door to door to local businesses. They got these folks to donate all the stocking stuffers for the kids: Chalet Liquor, McDonald’s, Killer Pizza From Mars, Vince’s Pizza, Cold Stone Creamery, Taco Bell, Little Caesar’s Pizza, Baskin-Robbins, BCA Radio Station and Major Market. Let’s show our gratitude and support these community businesses!

And finally, I want to thank Santa’s helpers: Maxi, Santa’s shopping elf, gift wrapper and party supporter; Carrie, Santa’s party elf, cookie decorator and pizza dodger; Carol, Santa’s wrapper elf; and Marlene, Santa’s wrapper elf and tree stand finder. These fine ladies were a fantastic help to Santa and the kids. God bless you and yours!

And, of course, a Santa thanks for supporting the meals and letting me pick your pockets when I’d pass the hat!
