Free tax preparation

Free State and Federal income tax preparation will soon be offered daily at the Joslyn Senior Center at the corner of Heald Lane and Fallbrook Street. This service is available to all Fallbrook residents regardless of age and is sponsored by AARP in cooperation with the IRS.

Tax counselors will be available weekdays between the hours of 8 a.m. and noon Monday, February 5, through April 13. Appointments can be made by calling (760) 728-4498.

Persons with complicated returns involving sale of real estate, multiple stock transactions and inheritance issues should seek the help of a professional preparer.
