A better Rainbow or

Rainbow Municipal Water District (RMWD) Division 1 voters (Bonsall, Fallbrook and Vista) need to turn out big time Tuesday, March 6, and give Pardee – and the county – a mandate that we will not tolerate their overly dense project on our homicidal Highway 76! RMWD should not annex this new development area – sharing our precious rationed water during periods of drought.

It isn’t necessary to cluster dwellings at densities significantly greater than the surrounding areas, necessitating a sewage treatment plant polluting our San Luis Rey River Aquifer. Our decomposed granite soils percolate, permitting septic tanks for new homes.

Ratepayers in Rainbow Divisions 2 through 5 recently voted for Directors Griffiths, McManigle, Lucy and Petty. They can be trusted to keep their campaign promises. Gerald Walson will play an integral role within this management team.

Since Walson’s last-minute opponent is costing the entire district $70,000 ($13 for every household!), make this election count as a pricey voter poll for the growth direction you want your district headed! Roth is for urban annexation, Pardee and a river-sewage plant.

Your vote for Gerald R. Walson is a vote for accountability and a rural Rainbow. Together, let’s “Build a Better Rainbow” within our boundaries.

Sheila M. Walson
