Iowa St. students learn about robotics

In the Technology Projects class, students at Iowa Street School built “AlphaRex,” the new Lego Mindstorm NXT wireless robot. The robot includes touch, sound and light sensors, all programmed by the students. The class, instructed by Phil Leonelli, offers students hands-on experience in applied math and physics, problem-solving, design process, the scientific method and teamwork.
