School group thanks Joe Curtis

Thank you, Joe Curtis of Curtisy Limousine. This note of thanks is a little overdue but certainly deserving.

Eight members of the Zion Lutheran Church and School’s China Service Project Team had reserved Joe’s limo service to take us and our luggage to LAX Bradley International Airport on Thursday, October 25. Then, the town was evacuated on Monday the 22nd and all of us were spread out in various parts of two counties.

Joe, however, remained in town and assured me throughout the evacuation period that he would get us to our destination even if it meant he couldn’t get back into Fallbrook himself.

It was a tremendous relief when all but two of our party could return to our homes earlier on the 25th, and Joe accommodated the other two by picking them up at another location.

His brand new limo was full to the brim with people and luggage, but I think the eight of us were able to relax a little at the beginning of our journey knowing we were safely on our way after a stress-filled week.

Joe, thank you again.
