Helping Hands Fund established

The Boys & Girls Club of North County has received an anonymous gift in the amount of $10,000 to establish a “Helping Hand Special Assistance Fund.” This program will be funded annually to the amount of $10,000.

It is intended to help current club members who may need assistance in the following areas:

• Books and tuition for college

• Health issues pertaining to dental, hearing and vision

• Special tutorial needs

Any current member who needs assistance may complete an application and submit it to the club. The club’s administration will review the application and make a determination for funding. If approved, funds will be paid directly to the service provider.
