Davis to speak at Bonsall Woman's Club luncheon

BONSALL — World traveler Elaine Davis, past president and member of Bonsall Woman’s Club (BWC) since 1986, will be the featured speaker at the club’s general meeting and luncheon at 10 a.m., Thursday, November 6, in the banquet room at San Luis Rey Downs Country Club, 31474 Golf Club Drive.

Davis, who has traveled to 82 countries from pole to pole, will present a slideshow and talk entitled “The Trip That Changed My Life.”

In what she calls “the most physically demanding trip that I’ve ever made,” she followed the mountain gorilla tracking routes with the help of guides into the deepest jungle underbrush in Rwanda and Uganda.

Cost of the luncheon is $12. For more information and reservations, call Cindy Gibson Floyd at (760) 723-1962.
