Senior Citizens Club meets Nov. 11

The next monthly meeting of the Fallbrook Senior Citizens Club will be on Tuesday, November 11, at 10 a.m. at the center. President Don Ficthorn urges all seniors to attend and keep up with the activities that the center has for all members and guests.

The special speaker will be Richard Rafter, who will speak on trip planning, giving ideas on how to make trip planning easy and fun.

At 12:30 p.m., First Vice President Joe Fahey will start the monthly Bingo game with many prizes. Cards are $1 each with no limit. Refreshments will be served. Bingo ends at 2 p.m.

On Wednesday, November 12, the Knit Wits meet at l0 a.m. to continue their projects for the dependents of Camp Pendleton. Call Gigi for information at (760) 728-9074.

Operation GI Joe has now sent its 11th box overseas. The following items are needed to fill more boxes: beef jerky, hot sauce in plastic, toothpaste and brushes, Top Ramen soup, microwave popcorn, health bars, baby wipes. These items and donations for postage ($10.95 per box) are greatly appreciated.
