Community Project Funding

Community Project Funding is vital to Fallbrook’s nonprofit organizations. The current system administered through our supervisor’s office has been fair, balanced and simple. Individual organizations make their case for financial support for community service programs which are then reviewed by our supervisor and his staff, who are personally acquainted with our local organizations, community leaders and community priorities. It is a direct, “hands-on,” well informed method of distributing funds with the goal of creating maximum community benefits from limited resources.

We don’t need to replace a system that works with a centralized bureaucratic system of grants, totally out of touch with the needs of our community and our nonprofits.

I speak with the voice of experience having served our community on the boards of many Fallbrook nonprofit organizations the past 25 years.
