Mr. and Mrs. James R. Mitchell of Mercer Island, WA, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Alexis to Zachary MacLean, son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald MacLean II of Fallbrook.

The bride graduated from Mercer Island High School in 2004 and is a 2008 graduate of Loyola Marymount University with a BA in business.

She is employed in the film industry which produces movie trailers and TV spots for studios in the Los Angeles area.

The groom graduated from Fallbrook Union High School in 2003 and is a 2007 graduate of Arizona State University with a BA in economics.

He is employed in online marketing in Santa Monica.

The couple currently resides in Santa Monica. They are to wed on August 21 at St. Monica’s Catholic Church on Mercer Island with a reception to follow at Broadmoor Country Club in Seattle.
