FALLBROOK – The usual group of suspects, Nan Bushley, Neill Ketchum, Carrie Repking, RoseAnne Sobkow, and Marsha Umbour are heading into the Christmas season with a new show about nature at Pinnell Gallery. They will host a reception on Friday, December 4, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. during the Customer Appreciation Night downtown.
Repking is the headliner with her toads; Ketchum is offering nine pieces in “This Country Life” series, which features animal companions in Fallbrook landscapes. Sobkow has a mixed bag of media, including plexiglass focusing on endangered species while Umbour has created a series of creature collages. The group’s newest member is the nationally-known wood turner Nan Bushley, who will feature her Finial series of gorgeous wood creations.
Everyone is welcome to come see the show and have a glass of cheer with these five women artists who have a definite attitude about nature and its inhabitants. The show opened November 25, and will run through December 31. The Pinnell Gallery is located at 240 North Main Street.
