Maryellen Mielke

Maryellen Mielke passed away at her home in Cherry Valley, Calif. on Feb. 21, 2010, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born August 1, 1930 in Dayton, Ohio.

Maryellen was a very special wife, mother and grandmother to us and there will be a void in our hearts forever! She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 54 years, Leo Mielke of Cherry Valley; one daughter, Cindy McKinley and grandchildren Marc and Megan of Huntington Beach; one son, Dr. Kevin Mielke, daughter-in-law Darlene and grandson Keith of Fallbrook.

We will miss her beautiful smile that lit up a room! We extend our gratitude to Cornerstone Hospice in Colton and especially Hospice Nurse Debbie who helped fill Mayellen’s last days with hope and dignity. Maryellen’s loving spirit is now at home in heaven!
