FALLBROOK – Once again the Fallbrook Vintage Car Club is proud to present a worthy donation to the REINS Therapeutic Horsemanship Program. The program’s mission is to provide physical, mental and emotional therapy to a wide range of physically challenged children and adults through the use of carefully supervised horseback riding. More than 100 clients participate in REINS, and range in age from two years old to more than 70.
Donations to this and other organizations in Fallbrook by the Car Club are made possible by their annual vintage car show, which has been held on Memorial Day weekend for 45 consecutive years. This year’s show will be at Potter Junior High School on Sunday, May 30.
Admission and parking are free to the public and it is truly a family event. Over 300 cars will be on display dating back to the early 1900’s. ‘Elvis’ will be there and a pancake breakfast and lunch will be available. The car club requests that guests at the event adhere to school regulations which stipulate no dogs and no smoking on school grounds.
