Concerts of May 14-15 to benefit Shriners Hospitals for Children - *May 14 – Stephanie Mills with Najee *May 15 – Clint Black

TEMECULA – Two concerts will feature award-winning performers the weekend of May 14-15 in Temecula as part of the Rhythm on the Vine series held at the opulent South Coast Winery to benefit Shriners Hospitals for Children.

The first concert, slated for Friday evening, May 14, at 7:30 p.m., will feature Stephanie Mills, a Broadway star, and Grammy and American Music Award winning blues, R&B and soul performer and contemporary award winning instrumentalist Najee.

Mills is a legendary musical theatre icon with more than a dozen albums. After taking time off for motherhood, it was good news for her adoring fans to hear that Mills has embarked on her first recording since 1994 with her new album, “Breathless.”

Najee is best known as the innovator of urban jazz. Having had a platinum selling debut album, entitled “Najee’s Theme,” Najee followed this album with yet another Platinum success “Day By Day.” Not to mention numerous other gold selling albums to his credit.

On Saturday evening, May 15, award-winning country singer-songwriter superstar Clint Black will perform a concert at the same venue beginning at 8 p.m.

Black has sold more than 20 million albums worldwide and was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry. He is one of country music’s top stars and has written, recorded and released more than 100 songs. Black has also recently appeared on NBC-TV’s “Celebrity Apprentice,” hosted by Donald Trump.
