Septic system workshop includes rebate program details

RAINBOW – Residents of Fallbrook, Bonsall and Rainbow are invited to attend a free workshop on May 20 to learn how to care for their septic systems and prevent costly system failures. The workshop, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., will address not only the proper maintenance of septic tanks and leech fields, but the attendees can sign up for a rebate program (worth $100 each) at the workshop.

The rebates (signed up for on a first-come, first-serve basis at the workshop) will allow the participants to receive $100 if they use a permitted septic system specialist to inspect and (if deemed necessary) pump their system. Details about the rebate program will be given at the workshop.

The workshop will be held at the Rainbow Valley Grange, 2160 Rainbow Valley Blvd., in Rainbow. A representative from the County of San Diego’s Department of Environmental Health will be speaking at this important workshop.
